Burrows & Associates engineers provide expertise in evaluation of existing building envelopes and building systems as part of due diligence activities for clients purchasing existing properties. Our comprehensive report details current conditions and identifies expected issues for the building and the equipment.

Building Information Modeling
Burrows & Associates have expertise in 3D modeling and BIM utilizing the latest versions of AutoDesk Revit software. Our BIM manager has over 12 years of experience and is a beta tester for Autodesk Revit ensuring you that the models we produce will meet your requirements.

Energy Studies and Energy Audits
Energy studies and audits provide insight into energy usage for both existing and new facilities and provide clients with the ability to understand current state energy costs as well as identifying energy saving alternatives. Burrows & Associates engineers provide energy studies for as built, as proposed and potential improvements to give clients the data they need to make informed decisions. Studies can be conducted to the National energy code or California Title 24 requirements using software and methods approved for compliance.

Environmental
Burrows & Associates have designed MEP systems for buildings to LEED silver and higher criteria for both public and private clients. Our engineers choose energy efficient cost conscious solutions for all of our projects and include LEED leadership with certified LEED AP and LEED Green Associate personnel in our design office.

EPA Spill Control Plan Development
Burrows & Associates have completed over 100 Spill control plans for our clients including oil storage and distribution facilities, public school districts and other clients. We can provide complete spill control plans or audits of existing plans to assist our clients with compliance to EPA regulations.

Request for proposals
Burrows & Associates assist municipalities and other clients in developing detailed request for proposals for new building and renovation projects. We build the proposal after detailed reviews with the client to ensure the RFP meets their requirements and budget.

Burrows and Associates Engineering Consultants, Ltd. was formed in 1989 and provides a wide range of engineering design services. Those services include HVAC design, plumbing and process piping design, lighting system design, electrical system design, communications and data system design, site utility design and energy system analysis.
Our project types include education, worship, parks, recreation, commercial office, retail, restaurant, medical, senior care, multi-family, lodging and defense. In the last 7 years we have provided MEP engineering services on over $200 million of public school projects, $175 million of senior care projects and $160 million in lodging projects.
Our design philosophy is simple: provide the client with energy efficient, cost conscious design services in a professional and timely manner.
